The Citadel Museum, on the Amman Citadel plateau, is a compact gallery of finds from the site's Bronze Age to Umayyad layers — statues, inscriptions and everyday objects that make the ruins around it readable.
It is included with the Citadel ticket. Travellers who hire car & driver in Jordan visit it after the ruins, and full package tours to Jordan include the museum in the city circuit.
